Meeting SNCF Volunteers

On 24 and 25 June, 2,500 of the volunteers responsible for welcoming the visitors expected for the Paris 2024 Games at stations gathered in Paris to spend time with the heads of SNCF and the Paris 2024 Organising Committee.

The SNCF kicked off "its" Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 June in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. Some 2,500 of the Group's employees, who have signed up as SNCF Volunteers or Transilien reinforcements for Paris 2024, gathered at Voie 24, the SNCF's Paris HQ during the event.

Ground Control renamed Voie 24

It was here, at the usual Ground Control venue, that all the Volunteers present were able to collect their Paris 2024 kit. They are set to play a major role during the event, guiding the millions of passengers and fans expected at stations. The two days of meetings were punctuated by events attended by Jean-Pierre Farandou, Chairman and CEO of the SNCF group, and Tony Estanguet, President of the Paris 2024 Organising Committee.
