When lorries take the train
In 2026, 22,500 semi-trailers will be loaded onto specialized flatcars at the Port of Sète-Frontignan’s new rail terminal. The aim is to reduce the carbon footprint of long-distance freight carried from the Mediterranean to destinations in northern Europe.
