Rose Loga
Meet the French hammer throw champion Rose Loga, a customer relations agent in the Paris-Chartres area.
Her Career
Setting records from an early age
At just 22, Rose Loga has already made her mark on the French hammer throw. The native of Paris, who has thrown over 70 meters, shows unfailing determination. The world of French athletics discovered the member of Athlé Chartres Lucé ASPTT Mainvilliers in 2021, when she set a new French junior record in Eaubonne (Val-d'Oise), with a throw of 71.09 meters. That same year, she won silver medals at the European Junior Championships in Tallinn (Estonia) and the World Junior Championships in Nairobi (Kenya).
Confirmation of potential
In 2024, Rose Loga broke her personal best at the European Championships in Rome, clearing 72.68m. It was a performance that earned her the bronze medal. Our athlete is now one of the best throwers on the continent. And in June 2024, she will be living up to that status by winning the French championships with a throw of 70.60 m. These performances open the door to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where the hammer thrower hopes to shine.
A new adventure with the SNCF
In addition to her sporting achievements, on 31 May 2024 Rose Loga signed a professional integration contract (CIP) with the SNCF, joining the SNCF Athletes Scheme as a customer relations agent in the Paris-Chartres area. This CIP will enable Rose Loga to reconcile her career as a top-level sportswoman with a professional life, while benefiting from the support of our Group.
