France’s first ever rail recycling centre
We reuse and reclaim rail products every day at our rail recycling facility in Beaune, eastern France. At SNCF Réseau, the circular economy is already here.
The best waste is no waste
At our rail recycling centre in Beaune, we collect, check, and recondition small equipment that is either leftover from worksites or has been kept on rail property for years. The aim is to add new pieces back to the national inventory and reuse second-hand parts. The centre employs 12 people, including workers on vocational integration contracts.
