Ouigo moves up a gear
Ouigo is looking to continue its growth in France and Europe, with new services and destinations, additional trains and the improvement of its offer. What’s the goal? To conquer 30% of SNCF Voyageurs' high-speed market by 2030.
Double the number of passengers by 2030
Launched in 2013 by SNCF Voyageurs, our low-cost offer is continuing to expand in France and Europe, with the aim of doubling the number of passengers carried by 2030 and representing 30% of the high-speed market within SNCF Voyageurs.
Three areas of development
- Expand the fleet to keep pace with growth, by renovating the existing fleet with the arrival of a first train as of January 2025, or by deploying 12 additional new trains between the end of 2025 and 2027;
- Develop new services and new destinations from the end of 2025 until 2027;
- Continuously improve our offer and services, by listening to customers and agents and better meeting their needs.

Our renovation programme
Thanks to a programme to renovate old INOUI TGV trains, with a different design and level of comfort from the current Ouigo trains, we should have 50 Ouigo trains by 2027. The arrival of these trains will enable us to reach 33 million customers a year by 2027, 10 million more than in 2023.
Code name: Tango
This new, renovated train meets the needs of a much broader customer base thanks to:
- Redesigned on-board comfort: a space created in the centre of the train, more robust seats, individual access to an electrical socket, repositioned luggage areas, more comfortable seats for passengers with disabilities, and additional bicycle hooks
- Revised energy performance: old TGV trains extended, installation of athermic windows to protect against high temperatures, more efficient air conditioning, toilets that reuse hand-washing water
- Renewed interior design: more modern decor and softer colours

Serve the whole of France
A new Paris-Hendaye line
Scheduled for December 2025, this new link via Dax, Bayonne, Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz will provide a daily round trip all year round, thereby offering an additional round trip to Bordeaux.
Enhanced offer between Paris and Rennes
In December 2025, the Paris-Rennes line will be enhanced by a 3rd Ouigo high-speed round trip, supplementing the two existing high-speed round trips and the classic Ouigo Train round trip.
New links under study
New links could be confirmed soon, for example to and from the Languedoc region, between Paris and Lyon, between Paris and Lille and between Paris and Strasbourg. Connections between major regional cities without passing through Paris are also being considered. Ouigo will thus increase the number of stations served from around sixty today to almost 75 in 2027, an increase in services of 25%.
