Laurent Trevisani
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Strategy and Finance, SNCF Group

A graduate of Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales, Laurent Trevisani began his career in 1988 at Arthur Andersen, an auditing and consulting firm, and then moved to Elf Aquitaine in 1993. He joined SNCF Group in 1996, serving as Chief Financial Officer and later CEO of its freight subsidiary Naviland Cargo, and then moved to SNCF Proximités as Senior Vice President for Strategy, Finance and Legal Affairs. In July 2012, he became Director of Strategic Planning at SNCF Group and CEO of SNCF Participations, handling the Group’s mergers and acquisitions from 2012 to 2016. In October 2014, Mr Trevisani took on new responsibilities as Chief Finance and Development Officer at SNCF Mobilités, and later became Deputy CEO of SNCF Holding.
He served as interim chairman of the Group from 13 October 2025, the date of Jean-Pierre Farandou's departure, until the arrival of the current CEO of the SNCF Group, Jean Castex, on 3 November 2025.
