Alain Quinet
Deputy Managing Director, Regulation and Sustainable Strategy at SNCF Réseau

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and an alumnus of the École Nationale d’Administration, Alain Quinet has worked in France’s economic and financial public administrations since 1988. In 2002, he was appointed Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister, becoming Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of economic affairs in 2005. In 2007, he was named Inspector General of Finance and joined the board of Réseau Ferré de France. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Caisse des Dépôts Group and Chairman of CDC Infrastructure. In December 2010, Alain Quinet became Deputy Managing Director of RFF, and subsequently of SNCF Réseau.
In 2020, he was appointed Executive Director, Strategy and Corporate Affairs, before becoming Deputy CEO, Regulation and Sustainable Strategy in 2025.
