Damien Pallant
Deputy Chief Safety Officer at SNCF Réseau

A graduate of École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile and holder of an Executive Masters from Sciences Po and the University of St Andrews (UK), Damien Pallant spent most of his career at Air France, where he held various operational and transformation management posts, progressing from co-pilot to Operational Performance Director over 22 years.
He joined SNCF in 2016 as Group Deputy Chief Safety Officer. In March 2020 he was appointed to the SNCF Voyageurs executive committee as Chief Safety Officer. There he undertook a transformation of the company’s safety culture, making SNCF Voyageurs a lead firm in deploying the regulatory framework for the fourth European railway package on safety. He was appointed Deputy Chief Safety Officer at SNCF Réseau in 2022.
