Gilles Dêcher began his career with Prost Transports/UPS, holding a number of positions in the Île-de-France, Rhône-Alpes and South-East regional divisions.

He then spent seven years with Ducros/DHL as Network Director before joining GEODIS in 2002 as regional manager for the Paris region.

In 2009, he was appointed Deputy CEO of Distribution & Express.

In April 2024, Gilles was appointed CEO of Distribution & Express.
