For three days, from March 31 to April 2, 2025, platforms 19, 20, and 21 at Gare d’Austerlitz, in Paris, hosted a unique film shoot in its scale and its ambition: “Les Rayons et les Ombres,” an epic and historical movie set in the 1940s and directed by Xavier Giannoli starring Jean Dujardin was shot inside the station.
Several vintage train sets, loaned by associations L’Amicale des Anciens et Amis de la Traction Vapeur Centre Val de Loire and Conservatoire Ferroviaire Territoires Limousin Périgord, helped bring to life the story, thanks to the involvement of our SNCF staff on the premises, the Railway Security teams, and our Cinéma & tournages unit.
