Investing now in a decarbonized future
Record investment
Public transport—with rail at its core—is a powerful driver of regional equity and a key contributor to the transition to a more sustainable world. That’s why SNCF Group, the French state, and local authorities together invested nearly €11 billion in the national rail system in 2025—an all-time record.

France’s towns, cities and regions want more rail services. They want more low-carbon transport, delivered with impeccable service at a fair price.
