2024—4 commitments to scale up operations

This year our Group made additional focused commitments—all with measurable, realistic and time-bound outcomes—to ramp up existing initiatives and boost our contribution to biodiversity.

These commitments take into account progress made from 2018 to 2021, including new knowledge and international frameworks. They are structured around 4 focus areas:

  • Strategy and dialogue with our stakeholders
  • Acting on scope 1—reducing pressure from direct operations
  • Acting on our value chain—scopes 2 and 3
  • Helping improve knowledge and raise awareness

International outreach from 2021 to 2023

When act4nature commitments were renewed in 2020, the initiative expanded its reach to multinationals and changed its name to act4nature international. High-profile partners such as government agencies, scientists and environmental non-profits ensure that the commitments of member businesses are solid.
