Keolis operates the Dublin tram service
Together with its Anglo-Saxon partner Amey, our company has been responsible for the operation and maintenance of Luas, the Irish capital’s tram network, since 1 September 2026. This marks a first for Keolis in the country.
A first for Keolis in Ireland
Keolis is set to make its debut in Ireland. Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Ireland’s National Transport Authority (NTA) have selected KeolisAmey, a joint venture between our subsidiary and UK-based Amey, to operate and maintain Dublin’s Luas light rail system. Since 1 September 2026, KeolisAmey has been operating this network, which comprises 42 km of track spread across two lines: the Green Line and the Red Line. They serve more than fifty stops.

Another milestone for Keolis
The initial contract will run for 7 years, with an optional 6-year extension. It’s a big step forward in Keolis’s international development. With the Luas contract, this SNCF Group subsidiary is now present in 14 countries around the world.
