Keolis wins Dublin light rail contract

Our subsidiary Keolis, together with its UK-based partner Amey, has been awarded the contract to operate and maintain Luas, Dublin’s light rail system. The contract will commence on 1 September 2026 and marks Keolis’s first project in Ireland.

A first for Keolis in Ireland

Keolis is set to make its debut in Ireland. Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) and Ireland’s National Transport Authority (NTA) have selected KeolisAmey, a joint venture between our subsidiary and UK-based Amey, to operate and maintain Dublin’s Luas light rail system. The contract for the 42-kilometre system will begin on 1 September 2026. The system’s two lines—the Green Line and the Red Line—together serve more than 100 stops.
