Training young people in
Keolis and the Agence pour l'Education par le Sport (APELS) have signed a national partnership to promote the professional inclusion of young people who are far from the labor market.
The aim? To recruit 40 young people a year by 2028, i.e. 120 new talents, in jobs in the mobility sector, by promoting the behavioral skills acquired through diligent practice of sport.
Integration through sport
This program identifies and helps sportsmen and women with a wide range of profiles find employment. Already tested for two years by Keolis in Île-de-France, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and Lyon, it is based on a 6-week course focusing on professional skills, completed by a certification training in train driving, in partnership with authorized centers.
As too many young people without qualifications remain without job prospects, this nationwide partnership with APELS is testament to our belief that public transport must be a lever for integration and equal opportunities.

Keolis, a socially committed group in the field
This partnership rallies various players committed to equal opportunity: APELS, a training organization certified by the French government, detects these young people and then provides training focused on social skills, as well as support from a certified coach.
For its part, Keolis is enlisting its subsidiaries in France to welcome, tutor and integrate young people in the field. The “Campus Mobilités Keolis”, the Group's Apprentice Training Centre, takes over the training of young people on work-study contracts, with the support of France Travail1 and official training organizations.
Since 2021, 200 and 250 young people aged 18 to 29 each year have been trained to become train drivers within the Group, as Keolis is pursuing an active policy in favor of inclusion.
