Training and recruiting the engineers of tomorrow

On 29 September 2025, Keolis signed a 3-year partnership agreement with ESTACA—a natural collaboration between a global leader in shared mobility and a school dedicated to sustainable transport. The goal: train, guide and recruit the mobility engineers of tomorrow.

Nurturing the talent pipeline of the future, now

Keolis is a leading player in shared mobility in France and around the world. In September, the company signed a long-term partnership with ESTACA, a high-education institution specializing in sustainable transport, to help train and recruit the mobility engineers of tomorrow.

ESTACA is the only engineering school in France offering specialized programmes in guided and rail-based transport, with around 40 graduates a year. As the global leader in light rail systems and automated metros, Keolis is eager to share its expertise with these future professionals.

One partnership, three pillars

The Keolis-ESTACA partnership focuses on support in three key areas:

  • Education: specialized lectures, case studies, front-line reports, expert presentations, industrial site visits, and joint study projects
  • Career development: internships, work-study programmes, job fairs, interview workshops, and HR coaching
  • Student life: partnerships with student associations, events, junior enterprise initiatives, sponsorships and equipment donations.

It’s a win-win collaboration, fostering innovative projects for ESTACA students and supporting continuing professional development of Keolis employees, from technicians to engineers.

Meeting growing recruitment needs

Strengthening our ties with ESTACA also helps Keolis build a strong talent pipeline in the mobility sector. Today, around 30 graduates work at Keolis sites across France, in roles ranging from maintenance and engineering to operations.

A decade of collaboration

Keolis and ESTACA have been working together for over 10 years through:

  • targeted training initiatives
  • participation in job fairs
  • guest lectures
  • internships
