Subscribe and commute with a bike under your arm
SNCF Voyageurs TER is partnering with Brompton to offer folding-bikes subscriptions in 4 participating regions, promoting low-carbon transport and making commuting by train faster and easier.

The magic of a folding bike
Thinking of adding a folding bike to your train commute? Now you can, thanks to a partnership between SNCF Voyageurs, folding bike manufacturer Brompton, and the French regions of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Pays de la Loire and Brittany. Subscribers will be able to rent one of the world’s most popular folding bikes.
Brompton’s lightweight, compact bikes are handy because:
- You can take them on TER regional trains, even during rush hour
- You don’t need to leave your bike parked at the station
- You don’t have to rely on a bike-sharing service
- You always have a way to complete your journey

A low-carbon solution
Folding bikes are an affordable way to reduce carbon emissions, ease urban congestion and improve access to regional rail services for people living in suburban areas. At a time of growing demand for more flexible, economical and environmentally friendly transport, this partnership brings together the expertise of a world-leading folding bike manufacturer and France’s national rail operator. Combining folding bikes with train travel will make it easier for subscribers to get from home to work and back again.
