Paris-Milan service back in operation
After 19 months of intense repairs following a major landslide, train service between France and Italy resumed on 31 March 2025. This reopening testifies to the hard work, innovation and resilience of our SNCF Réseau teams and their partners, who went all out to bring this crucial line back to life.

An emergency in the French Alps
