Wildlife managers roam our rail verges all year round to make sure our passengers reach their destination safely and on time. But what exactly do our wild boar, deer and burrowing beast experts do for a living?

They work in different areas—Railway Security, Rolling Stock and SNCF Réseau—but they share the same passion: flying drones!

These skilled, dedicated experts repair and renovate our trainsets every day. Find out just how they do it in the Nevers Languedoc heavy-maintenance Technicentre, at SNCF’s newest upholstery workshop.

Their names are Malik, Sama, Nathalie, Yassine, Romain, Mélanie and Jean-Louis. And with the rest of the crew, they operate night train 3741 running all the way from Paris to Hendaye, the last town before Spain on France’s southwestern coast.
