New ambition

  • More capacity, more flexibility: with 740 seats, the new TGV offers reconfigurable carriage interiors, including modular luggage racks and bike spaces to suit every journey.
  • Eco-designed: built with 97% recyclable materials, 25% of which are already recycled, this train has the lowest carbon footprint on the market. It offers  20% greater energy efficiency than previous generations.
  • Made in France: entirely designed and assembled at Alstom sites in France.
  • Next-level innovation: features the ground-breaking “graft”, a revolutionary onboard battery that keeps trains running even if the main power supply fails.
  • Striking new look: the exterior, designed by AREP and Nendo, combines aerodynamic form, a minimalist livery and a reflective surface for a sleek, modern appearance.
  • Enhanced comfort: interiors have been redesigned for optimal passenger and
crew comfort. The new Le Bistro replaces former café-bars, spanning upper and lower levels and offering 28 seats plus additional standing room.
