Transilien’s accessibility services earn Cap’Handéo certification
Disability non-profit Handéo has certified our special assistance service for people with reduced mobility on the intercity and RER commuter rail lines operated by Transilien SNCF Voyageurs in the Paris region on behalf of Île-de-France Mobilités. The recognition confirms our commitment to accessibility and inclusion for passengers in the Paris region.
5-year certification
Once again, Transilien SNCF Voyageurs has earned Cap’Handéo mobility services certification. Announced 11 February 2026, the recognition covers all intercity and RER commuter lines operated in the Paris region, as well as our Access Plus Transilien service, which helps people with reduced mobility get around.
The Cap’Handéo certification highlights how Transilien assists passengers at every stage of their journey—helping them plan, welcoming them at stations, providing transport alternatives when a station is temporarily closed, and making digital communication easier through online tools like the transilien.com website and Andilien app.
Recognition for our helpful employees
The certification also highlights the quality of the training Transilien SNCF Voyageurs employees receive to help them better welcome and assist passengers with disabilities. And it recognizes the commitment of all staff who serve passengers every day, including:
- Station customer service agents, who provide hospitality and assistance
- Call centre employees at our information and reservation service, Assist’enGare, available daily by phone on 32 12 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to help passengers with reduced mobility plan trips and book assistance at the station
- Our road transport partners, who provide alternatives to Transilien when a station is inaccessible
