GEODIS signs agreement to acquire Malherbe group

Our company is strengthening its position in France by acquiring the leading road freight transport specialist. This acquisition will contribute to expanding GEODIS's national network and improving the quality of service provided to its customers.

GEODIS aims to continue its development in the French road freight market for full and less than full truckloads and bolster its presence in the agri-food and mass retail sectors by acquiring the Malherbe group, a road transport specialist since 1956.

GEODIS is thus taking  a new step in its growth strategy with this acquisition, which will place our company among the top three players in the French market for full and less than full truckloads, with combined revenue of €2 billion.

Decarbonizing transport

Since 2024, Malherbe has implemented a comprehensive program designed to diversify its energy sources, gradually electrify its fleet, and install charging infrastructure at several of its sites. This initiative aligns perfectly with GEODIS's ambition to reduce the carbon footprint of its activities and promote more sustainable transport solutions.
