GEODIS continues to electrify its truck fleet
Our company has signed a firm order for 110 44-tonne electric trucks to be used for urban deliveries and long-distance transport.
Delivery scheduled for 2027
GEODIS has placed an order for 110 44-ton electric heavy trucks developed by Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks to be delivered by May 2027 in order to expand its fleet. These new trucks will be dedicated to transport operations in France, either for urban deliveries or long-distance transport. The GEODIS European Road Network activity electric truck fleet will reach in total 190 vehicles.

Optimizing territorial coverage
To operate this fleet, GEODIS is developing electric corridors along the main French routes, enabling charging every 250 to 500 kilometers. To achieve this, GEODIS relies on its current network of around sixty charging points, which will increase to more than 200 by 2030.
It is a major investment for GEODIS, both in terms of fleet and infrastructure, marking our clear choice in favor of electrifying our fleet and integrating into our CO₂ emission reduction trajectory validated by the Science Based Target initiative.
