Laurent Melaine began his career at Transports Graveleau before moving to Dachser, where he held a series of positions in sales development and site management.

He joined GEODIS in 2011 as key account director in the Distribution & Express Line of Business. He was appointed Sales Director in 2013, with a seat on the Management Committee. In 2018, he became Sales and International Director. In this role, he supervised key account management, the development of international business and chartering. In July 2022, Laurent joined the Executive Committee and became Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing Officer for the Group.

In May 2024, alongside his responsibilities as Head of the Sales and Marketing Department, he took over as Head of Group Communications. 

Laurent Melaine holds a Masters in economic science and a postgraduate degree in business and international strategy.
