RLE, expertise in Europe
Rail Logistics Europe—formerly TFMM rail & multimodal freight transport—is the umbrella brand for SNCF Group rail freight and logistics operations. Backed by expertise in a wide range of areas, RLE offers customized, door-to-door solutions for every kind of freight in Europe and around the world, along with locomotive maintenance.
RLE serves customers across many markets, primarily in France and other European countries, with support from 6 strong subsidiary brands: Hexafret, Captrain and its network, VIIA, Naviland Cargo, Forwardis and Technis.

Hexafret
Hexafret is France’s new freight train operator, specialized in wagonload and block train services. Tasked with promoting a modal shift from road, it aims to export its unique expertise to other national and international markets.
Technis
Now offering locomotive maintenance within France, Technis has an expert team of 500 who serve customers through Rail Logistics Europe and, more broadly, work with rail freight businesses that operate, lease, or produce locomotives/rolling stock.
Captrain
Captrain operates on domestic markets in Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland, as well as leading international corridors.

VIIA
VIIA uses specialized terminals to connect to European rail networks and offer an ever-broader range of high-performance alternatives to road transport. This SNCF company is a key player in the green transition.

Naviland Cargo
Naviland Cargo is the European leader in combined sea transport, serving customers as a transport operator and freight forwarder. By blending rail with road and/or barge transport, it creates a single, seamless logistics chain.
Forwardis
Forwardis is a freight forwarder with rail freight and supply chain expertise, developing custom-tailored rail, waterway and multimodal solutions to move cargo across markets from Spain to China.
