Before joining GEODIS in 2015, Thomas served at several managing positions at TNT. He held various positions in Sales and Marketing as well as leading Group Marketing. In 2006 he assumed responsibility as CEO for TNT Innight - a multi country organization specializing in nightly distribution with 1,200 employees across 7 countries. After the successful turnaround of that business, he was appointed CEO of TNT Express Germany in 2007. A business he led for the following 6 years.

He joined GEODIS in 2015 as Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer prior to his current responsibilities which he took over in 2018. He was appointed CEO Europe in January 2023.
