SNCF Group Foundation: 30 years of solidarity

In 2025, the SNCF Group Foundation will celebrate its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we invite you to discover how it’s building connections across France and promoting solidarity—in keeping with the rail industry’s 30-year commitment to community engagement.

30 years of commitment

Thirty years ago, the SNCF Solidarity Foundation was created, launching the first Coups de Cœur Solidaires—railway worker-led volunteer projects to support community initiatives. Since then, its name has been shortened to SNCF Group Foundation but its mission has only grown. Today, the Foundation supports a wider range of public-interest projects, works closely with community-based associations, and benefits from the growing involvement of SNCF employees who donate their time and skills to causes across France.

Committed, connected solidarity

Giving youth a leg up

The SNCF Group Foundation’s mission centres on creating a bright future for young people. At grassroots level, it provides long-term assistance to help them find their footing in society and supports the associations that work alongside them.

This commitment takes many forms: financial support, long-term assistance, active participation by SNCF employees in special events, and aid for community organizations. In every case, the goal is to work with and for young people to build a more inclusive, sustainable and environmentally responsible society—one where everyone has a place and can help transform the world for the better.
