The Paris-Clermont Intercités train at the heart of a scene in "Iris"
A Corail carriage was the setting for an amusing scene in the series directed by Doria Tillier, who plays a woman with no filter who tells embarrassing truths. Our teams supervised the filming on board for one day.
One day of filming, several months of preparation
Last February, our agents were hard at work accompanying the teams filming the new Canal+ series "Iris", produced by Films entre 2&4 and starring, created and directed by Doria Tillier. Organised by the SNCF group's Film & Filming Division, the filming took place on a Corail train on the Paris-Clermont Intercités line, and lasted the time of a round trip, benefiting from the coordination of the SNCF group’s various companies.

In addition to SNCF Voyageurs, which reserved the carriage needed for the scene on both journeys, SNCF Gares & Connexions and Rail Security teams contributed to this well-oiled organisation, the former by providing a room for the actress and the latter by handling security on board. The mobile sales trolley at the centre of the scene was provided by the Newrest catering service.
The result is a quirky and hilarious scene between Iris and two passengers, which showcases our railway decor and sums up the theme of the series broadcast on Canal+ on 25 November: Iris says out loud what everyone else is not thinking.
