Our procurement team’s mission is to improve SNCF Group’s economic performance and reduce our carbon footprint. But its decisions also strengthen our local presence and roots, amplifying the impact of SNCF spending throughout France.

In figures: 

  • €27.2 bn total purchasing by all 7 SNCF Group companies
  • 60% of purchases under contract rate CSR criteria 20% or higher (vs 52% in 2022)
  • €42 m in purchases from community and social suppliers in 2023 (target: €100 m by 2030)

Moving toward 100% green finance

At SNCF Group, we’re fully engaged in the green transition. In 2016 we launched a major green bond programme, and today we’re the No. 1 issuer of these innovative financial instruments in the transport and logistics sector.
