Connecting regions across France
We work with our stakeholders across all of France’s regions, developing sustainable mobility solutions and supporting over 265,000 indirect jobs in thousands of SMEs and their subcontractors. We also actively foster a more caring, inclusive society through a range of initiatives.

Genuinely useful—serving regions and people
Only one group develops a mobile retail service for remote communities in Brittany, western France; manages “the best underground project in the world” in the Paris Region; helps vulnerable young people find a place in society in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, southwestern France; tests self-driving mobility solutions of the future in Pays de la Loire, western France; teaches highschoolers about rail safety in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, southeastern France; creates France’s first rail recycling centre in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté; uses local rapeseed crops to power trains in Normandy, northwestern France; gives young people an entrepreneurial experience in Occitanie, southern France; provides first-aid care in a railway station in Hauts-de-France, northern France; promotes combined transport in Centre-Val de Loire, central France; builds housing on its land in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, southeastern France; and contributes €19 billion to France’s GDP. And that group is SNCF. We do all this—and more—in the regions of France.
