Our core principles
Learn all the ins and outs of becoming an SNCF Group supplier, from our quality requirements and selection criteria to our qualification process and more.
Our requirements
Our assessment criteria
Candidates are being graded on criteria based on their activity. These criteria may cover health and safety at work, quality, cost and competitiveness, logistics, finance, management, but also product or project development, corporate social responsibility, decarbonisation, etc.
Our procurement priorities
We want to attract, expand and retain a network of value-creating suppliers. Our purchases from French suppliers contribute directly or indirectly to our rail and mobility operations, and thereby power an entire flagship industry in France.
Our quality requirements
To keep our operations and the French rail network safe, we constantly monitor the quality of the products and services we buy. So to qualify, you must meet a certain number of requirements, as set out in our contracts.
The qualification process
You need to be a qualified supplier for some products, services and engineering works. Our qualification process ensures that your company has the legal, financial, technical and organizational capacity to deliver a specific product or service.
Innovation is key
Mobility is experiencing a radical transformation, and we must constantly reinvent ourselves to respond to tougher competition and the climate emergency. Which means innovation is crucial and a key criterion in our supplier relationships.
